No client rollout, no device-management project, no update program. An optional native agent adds desktop notifications if you want them. uOS describes the product as familiar from the first minute, with training effort close to zero. We still walk your team through the rollout.
Studio, part of uOS, can build internal tools from a plain-language description: forms, trackers, and small workflow apps, deployed to your platform. Notes and tasks sit in the same workspace. What is and is not end-to-end encrypted is spelled out in the security section. We do not widen that list.

Invitation only
There is no open registration. Every account is created through an invitation and stays tied to the person who invited them. Verified identities. No anonymous accounts. No bot registrations. A clear chain of accountability.

End-to-end encrypted
Encrypted per recipient in the client. The server stores ciphertext only.

Post-quantum by default for internal messaging, mail, file storage, notes, and tasks. uOS frames this against store-now, decrypt-later, the threat model it says regulators are asking about.
- Asymmetric cryptography
- Post-quantum hybrid. Signatures combine ML-DSA-65 (FIPS 204) with Ed25519. Key establishment combines ML-KEM-768 (FIPS 203) with X25519. Both parts are required, so there is no downgrade to a classical-only path.
- Symmetric cryptography
- XChaCha20-Poly1305. Key derivation via HKDF-SHA256.
- Credentials
- No password database. An Argon2id wrapping key is derived locally. The server stores only public keys, lookup hashes, and an opaque encrypted seed blob. Account recovery is a 3-of-5 secret-sharing scheme controlled by the user.
- Sessions and tracking
- Zero cookies. Browser storage is wiped on every page load. No advertising trackers, no analytics resale, and data is never sold.
- Jurisdiction
- Built and operated in the European Union. uOS states it is GDPR compliant by architecture, because the operator cannot read end-to-end encrypted content. uOS publishes a threat model and a security roadmap, and answers security questionnaires directly.

Is this generally available?
No. uOS for Business is in early access. Organizations are onboarded individually, with direct access to the team behind the product. Chicago AI Agency is the services arm of uOS. We sell, set up, roll out, and support uOS for Business, so that work is with the team building it.
Where is it hosted, and what about GDPR?
uOS is built and operated in the European Union. uOS states that it is GDPR compliant by architecture, because the operator cannot read end-to-end encrypted content.
What is end-to-end encrypted, and what is not?
uOS is deliberately precise about this. It states that these are end-to-end encrypted, per recipient, in the client, and that the server stores ciphertext only: chat messages and attachments, internal mail, file contents and file names, notes, tasks, collaborative documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and kanban boards. If something is not on that list, uOS does not claim it is end-to-end encrypted. Calendar is part of the workspace. It is not on that list.
Can AI read our data?
Stored content stays end-to-end encrypted whether or not anyone uses AI. AI inside the workspace is explicit and opt-in. When it is used, the request goes to the provider you connected: an in-house model on your infrastructure, a private cloud in your region, or your own OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic key. We do not send that work through a consumer account we chose.

uOS is free during early access. uOS says commercial platforms are priced transparently afterwards. That price is theirs, not ours. Our setup, migration, training, and automation work is quoted on the consult. There is no rate card on this page.
